Collaborating at Conferences

This week, I have had the opportunity to attend the annual CUE conference in Palm Springs. Attending with me, I have several friends, coworkers, and other educators from my district. It’s always a great event to learn, collaborate and catch up with other edu-friends from across the state.

As I went into this conference, I wanted to be more intentional about how I plan on sharing resources with teachers back at my site. After all, my site has allowed me the amazing opportunity to attend this conference, so I want to make sure that I am bringing these resources back in order to support teachers. In addition to this, there are so many great sessions that I won’t get to attend because, you know I am only one person!

So, I created a Slide Deck that could be shared with multiple people that were attending CUE. All of us have been adding the session descriptions, resources and our own notes/ideas to this document as we attend the sessions. One of the best benefits of this Slide Deck is that we can have access to resources and notes for sessions we were not able to attend. With 3-4 people adding to it, we could have up to 20-30 session resources, notes and ideas to share with our sites!

Check out our CUE Slide Deck below:

When we get back, we can share this Slide Deck with our staff and they can go through all of the slides and, hopefully, find resources for their classroom and students!

How do you share resources with fellow staff members when you attend conferences? Share below!
