My Daughter is in seventh grade and having problems with geometry. I tried to use Google slides to teach her surface area and circumference. But, I can not get it to work. Thank You, Daniel Kath

Thank you! This activity worked fabulous with each of my sections–I have three sections per class. We have a class set of iPADs and I sat the kids with a partner. Some groups chose to do the work on paper–which was fine by me. Thanks again! Fantastic engagement and so easy to do.

On the teacher side:I shared the assignment with each of my students via their student email address…took about 2 min to copy and paste emails and share with them. I then had them open Google slides on the iPAD and make a copy of the original. And off they went.

We have tried it with our Mac Books and the students will be using IPads. However, we still cant move the shapes or measures.

Hi Karyn,

I shared it with the students through Google Classroom and selected “make a copy for each student”. This gives each student their own copy to edit. From there, they can open the Google Slide, click on the shapes and/or measurements, and move them to the appropriate location.
