Thank you for sharing this useful information. I used both in the past and will choose one platform to use next school year.

Zoom is an app used for video conference calls. The users can meet virtually by audio or by video. Screen sharing, group video conferences, and one-one-meetings are some of the main features of Zoom. Teachers can use Zoom to teach their students virtually. According to Shukla (2020), the Cyber Co-ordination Center of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs stated hackers have been able to leak the confidential data of Zoom users. The advisory also stated Zoom is not a secure app. Hackers are able to enter Zoom conference meetings. As a safeguard, Zoom users should update their settings to keep the hackers from easily entering conference calls. The Zoom users should keep their Zoom meetings locked. Only the administrator of the meeting should have access to the password. Also, do not publicly share the password to unlock meetings.

I really appreciate your doing this. Very nice and helpful as I'm trying to get our district all on the same page. Would be so much nicer for parents/students to learn only one platform.

In my school we're using Meet, but in my district it's not universal. Makes it tougher for parents I'm sure to have multiple platforms depending on their students' school/teacher.
