Hi Megan,
This is a great resource! I think your Power Point slide on the 4 Cs (Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication and Creativity) is really helpful for me as an educator to ensure that my learning engagements are leaning strongly towards the ‘student centered’ scale. During crucial periods of the year such as the weeks prior reporting, I often find myself with a long list of things that I need to accomplish with the students, and tend to sometimes deliver lessons which are more on the teacher-centered side of the scale.

On the critical thinking slide you listed that one of the elements that allow learning to be totally student centred is using technology as a primary tool for students to share their messages and enhance learning. I totally agree, as technology allows for various options with regards to student agency in expressing their ideas and developing creativity. I think that the resource that you have provided here is a great tool for my own self-reflection, which will prompt me to evaluate how deeply I am threading these concepts (the 4Cs) into my lessons, allowing me to make creative improvements! Thank you!

I loved reading your blog post and watching the interactive presentation you provided. It is so important for teachers to focus on the four C's while lesson planning. Students need lessons that will inspire them and spark creativity! I will definitely keep this in mind when I begin student teaching! Thanks!!
